Tlaloc is a deity of Mexica mythology, associated with rain, water and fertility. He was worshipped as an important god in Aztec culture. Tlaloc was depicted with attributes that included large, prominent eyes, snakes in his headdress and seashells. His role was vital to the agricultural cycle, as it was believed that his weeping brought the rain needed for the crops.
